Absolutely the most perfect location for exploring Boston! We walked or took the T everywhere— including to Fenway Park, The Boston Gardens, Prudential Center for View Boston, lots of shopping and restaurants, and the USS Constitution (that was further so we took the T). Couldn’t have picked a better location for all the things we wanted to do and see in Boston. The accommodations were clean and beautiful— loved the charm of the suite and its surroundings.

Positive: It was clean, great location!

Great place. Very clean. Getting in was a little wonky, as gps took us out back. When you call, it’s a service , not an owner. We did get in once we cleared up the right door. Parking is a premium as well, so just know that

Positive: I liked the location, the spacious room, and how clean everything was. Negative: I didn’t like the fact that there was no elevator, and my room was on the 4th floor. I also wasn’t informed until it was too late that I needed to make a parking reservation. We visited Boston during student move-in week, and parking in the area was very limited.

Great space, very clean, walkable to a lot of restaurants and the Fenway area. Proactive hosts who responded quickly to questions.

Positive: The Charlesgate Suite was fantastic: conveniently located, comfortable and well appointed.

The place suited our family’s needs. Fenway was close by (the reason we came) but found that we explored so much of the city. Would definitely come back. Loved the staircase to the third floor

Great place and location. My kids loved it and wanted to stay longer, but we could not. The room is clean and the kitchen came in clutch when we needed it.

We had a great stay at Charlesgate. The location was perfect for a weekend exploring downtown Boston, riding bikes on the bike path, and seeing a concert at MGM Fenway. Exactly as pictured, the shower was A++, and the location couldn’t be beat. The parking spot was icing on the cake- cheaper than any parking we could find nearby and all ours! As always, if you aren’t used to a city setting there is definitely noise from neighbors (especially the late night parties living at nearby BU dorms), but nothing that can be done about that. Weld definitely go back. It was a perfect setup for our family of 3!

I would highly recommend this location for a trip to Boston. Location was centralized for all activities. Also this was one of the cleanest units we’ve stayed in and the furniture is high quality.

Positive: Very comfortable apartment and very well equipped and clean. Negative: We were on the back of the building and there was some traffic noise. There was a mix up with our car park request and we had to find our own parking at more expense.

Très beau séjour. Bien situé au cœur d’un joli quartier tranquille, propre et lit extrêmement confortable ! Je recommande. Aussi, nous avons eu un petit problème avec le code de la porte extérieure et ça été super facile de rentrer en contact avec l’hôte pour gérer le problème.

Positive: Great location, comfy beds, very Clean! Negative: Road noise from highway. This wasn’t a problem for us because we sleep with earplugs, but it could be for someone who is unprepared.

Once all the problems were taken care of, the place was worthwhile. But when we pay premium prices, we expect these issues to be attended to before check-in, not after. Kudos to the maintenance man who fixed the lock on the door and got the TV to work.
