The unit was clean, updated, and had all that we needed for our 5 night stay. The hosts were quick to respond and provided very clear instructions for a seamless check-in and check-out. The best part about the unit was the location: close to Fenway Park, music venues, lots of restaurants, etc. and made for an easy walkable trip.

Wir haben drei Wochen in den Charlesgate Suites verbracht und insgesamt eine sehr gute Erfahrung gemacht. Die Unterkunft war sauber, modern renoviert und entsprach vollständig der Beschreibung. Besonders der Kamin hat eine gemütliche Atmosphäre geschaffen und unseren Aufenthalt bereichert.
Die Ausstattung war für den Alltag gut geeignet und bot alles Wesentliche. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt hätten wir uns jedoch zusätzliche Reinigungsutensilien wie Staubsauger oder Wischmöglichkeit gewünscht.
Durch die zentrale Lage ist die Straße hörbar, und auch Krankenwagen waren häufiger zu hören. Nach einiger Zeit war das etwas störend, insgesamt aber gut aushaltbar.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich sehr fair. Wir würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.
The place is large, clean and bright
The place is large, clean and bright. The furniture was high quality, except the coffee table which was stained and beat up.
Check in was smooth, once I realized that the code only worked on the front door and the room door.
There were only 2 towels for our 2 night, 3 day stay.
I purchased parking for 30 a night which was conveniently right behind the building. However, I was harassed over and over and over again about the parking payment which I had paid promptly the day I purchased the room.
I finally got Airbnb support involved. They confirmed that I had paid the parking, and I was finally able to relax without being hounded for money on my drive home.
They never apologized for being wrong about the parking payment and the stress the harassment caused.
I agreed to pay an additional 37.60 to have a small item shipped that I had left behind in my disregulated state. They are ether scammy, disorganized or lack team communication IDK. I love the building, but no thanks.
Communication was excellent from the host
Communication was excellent from the host. The location was superb for walking, using public transit, getting downtown or to the airport. Everything was clean and organized. Being at the top floor there is minimal noise and foot traffic from neighbors outside the place. If I return to Boston, I’d want to be back. The washer and dryer being available was a huge perk. Would recommend this listing to any friend thinking of visiting Boston!

The place is beautiful, the building is so elegant. My bad for not reading well, and noticing that this was on a 4th floor, which, of course, for a longest day of two weeks was hard given back were full. When staying for long-term, it will be great to refill coffee and change towels. Other than that, I really love it and totally recommended if you’re OK with the 4 floor

The location is excellent, with easy access to the train, making it super convenient to get around. The space itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped—perfect for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed our stay. We came to town for some college tours with my daughter and the location was perfect for us. It was a bit noisy from outside traffic but that is to be expected when staying in a big city.

A hidden gem in Boston!
Positive:
This is the second time we have stayed at Charlesgate Suites, and our experience has been nothing but phenomenal. Our suite was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, the king size bed was very comfortable and the Nespresso machine was a perfect addition.
The building has the ambience of an old brownstone, with unique wallpaper, and a winding staircase, that takes you to your room. The company gives you the directions to enter the day before your stay, they are simple to follow.
We were so glad that they had a parking spot for us, which as you know is a premium to find in Boston! The T stop is right in Kenmore Square, which is maybe a 10 minute walk to get too.
We are looking forward to our next stay at Charlesgate Suites!
Negative:
We did have a few ideas that we suggested to the company, maybe deadbolt locks on the suite doors, extra towel racks near the sinks in the bathrooms, and directions for the use of the thermostat. They got back to us right away, saying they would address the issues, they were very positive.
To sum up it was good to stay in but there was maintanance problems

Only suggestion would be maybe 8 total towels instead of 6. We didnt really need 8, but used up all 6. Mainly because women tend to use two for their hair etc, so might be nice to just always have 8 in general!

For a "staffless" establishment the instructions and stay were very well managed via Text. The Amenities were phenomenal (Large in-suite Tub, most comfortable bed, quality linens) and the historical brownstone conversion, created a historical and homey charm. The central location was great walking to most of our trip-planned destinations. 10/10

Having a parking spot since we drove in was great, I would have preferred to have it included in the cost but it is a nice option to have as an add-on since not all guests will require it, and was a reasonable price per day for a short stay, but could add up on longer stays

Charlesgate Suites was perfect for our weekend getaway in Boston. Keyless entry made getting in and out super easy. The suite was actually bigger than it seemed in the picture. It was cozy and clean. It has a comfortable bed and big bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, but not overbearing or bothersome. The location was easy to find, right off Storrow Dr., which means we could park (parking available which was key) when we arrived and walk to anyplace we wanted. Big beautiful windows in the suite allowed us to take in the sites and sounds of the city during the small amount of time we spent in the suite. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was fine, clean and easy to access. Host was not easy to communicate with, text only and very delayed responses. We had issues with parking which resulted in a costly ticket due to slow communication and zero parking instructions ahead of time for parking we paid for weeks in advance. There were also issues with the refridgerator. Not able to speak to a real person as there are layers of a management service you have to deal with via text. If you're not in the place much you should be fine, but I wouldn't stay here again.
