If you like historic bldgs., high ceilings, huge windows and quirks and want location in middle of it all, this is for you. Edge of Back bay at Kenmore/BU neighborhood, Charles River, this is great launching pad for all that is Boston. Spacious studio, all new reno.parking in back right off Storrow Dr. and keyless self chk in a plus.
Beautiful comfortable apt and beautiful building
Positive:
Breakfast was not offered during my stay. The apt was very clean and welcoming with a clean smell throughout. Ceilings were high giving a wide open feel to the place. The towels were thick, soft and clean as well as the bedding. The entire apt was spotless. The kitchen was stocked with clean useful cutlery and very nice pots and pans. The dishwasher was also a very nice touch. The front bay windows made the apt very bright during the day and we did not need to turn on the lights. The kitchen was also very clean as well as the fridge. We didn't mind the 3 floor walk-up because the lobby was so pretty with the wall murals and the stairs were padded with carpet and wide enough for 2 persons to walk up side by side as well as air-conditioned. The location was also perfect. 10 min walk to Fenway and 10 min walk to Berklee College. Plenty of fine restaurants within walking distance. Automated climate control worked excellent.
Negative:
We did have an issue with the circuit breaker that was not working properly the first night. This made us unable to use the outlets in the living room and bedroom as well as the TV. I was able to fix this issue with the help of the email concierge person later that evening and thankfully we did not have to move to the unit next door which was offered to us because we really enjoyed our space after we unpacked and set off for the evening. Also, when we turned on the oven to heat up leftovers, the oven circuit breaker went out. We just decided to heat up food on the stove top.

We stayed for three nights at Andrew’s place. The block has two apartments that share a common hall and we booked the one on the ground floor.
The description matched the apartment well. It’s very spacious and ideal for a family of four ( preferably with younger kids, as the sofa bed didn’t quite accommodate our 6-foot-plus offspring)
Given that we are the first Airbnb guest, let me detail some things. The kitchen is well-equipped and the furniture selection is nice. We loved the firm bed and the white spotless sheets and towels. The apartment has both heating and cooling.
What we loved- the location. You are right in front of Boston University and a 7-10 min walk away from Back Bay’s restaurants. At the same time, getting on the expressway was very easy as well.
What we wish Andrew can improve upon: the blinds. he doesn’t have blackout curtains yet and the morning light can wake you up very early in the morning.
Overall, a good stay.

Nice spot, definitely on the larger side of a studio airbnb for the area. Close to Fenway and the bike path. Easily walk to Newbury Street area and museums. We had a little trouble with parking details but it all got worked out in the end so it wasn’t a big deal.

Very clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to restaurants and Fenway Park. Beautiful brick stone and safe area.
Negative:
There is no actual staff onsite and they never sent us which room we were in. Had to call property manager.
