Traveling with my husband and 2 teenage boys. This place was perfect for us. Easy access to everything, just enough space and a Boston Brownstone experience (the entry way was amazing). Both the main bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the place was nicely decorated.

This place is perfect for two people looking to be near Fenway Park and the Back Bay. Quiet, clean, and pictures are spot on. It’s definitely on the return list.

We had a great time- the physical key didn’t work but the host was responsive and helped us get in via the smart lock. Parking was somewhat hard some spots had green markings others did not. The space was nicely set up, everything we needed, and the host was extremely responsive. I ran a half marathon today and they let us check out just a smidge late so I could shower before the drive home which is appreciated. If you want to see a Red Sox game this is the air bnb it’s an 8 minute walk tops! Great area. And the rental bikes in the area are great!

This comfortable and beautifully decorated studio is in the perfect location. The area is quiet and peaceful and I truly enjoyed my stay. The host was responsive. I would not hesitate choosing this property again.

The unit is exactly as described. Very clean and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. A very comfortable bed, crisp linens. The TV has everything you need. Washer/dryer just outside the entry door of the unit. Plenty of dresser and closet space. Unit has a great working AC. You are the perfect distance from Fenway Park and there are some great restaurants just around the corner from Fenway. Eventide has a very reasonably priced menu and the best lobster roll. Tasty burger/Walbergs great also. Take the tour at Fenway it is worth it. The train is easy to ride, just ask the attendant for assistance and they will direct you to the right train. Would definitely stay at this location again!!!

Positive: The room was very clean and was exactly like the photos, kitchen was equipped with everything you could ever need. A good walking distance from Fenway Park! Negative: The filter in the vent above the kitchen seemed to be loose so there was some noise during the night, the rest was pretty much perfect!

This place was great! It was a bit hard to find at first because the gps was saying the address was under a bridge? 🤣 but we figured it out. it’s very central to a lot of things in boston. Had a small issue with the parking because they gave us a diagram of the assigned spots but there were no markings, which was frustrating. But the host was responsive and helped us make sure we were in the correct spot. Other than that, everything was great. The building is cute, the unit was extremely clean and smelled great, beds were comfy and all the sheets and towels were pristine. Bathroom was spotless, water pressure was amazing, and the washer and dryer were great. The building feels very safe and is in a good part of town. I would recommend it for anyone visiting boston.

Positive: Location was great. Went there for game at Fenway. Just a short walk to Fenway, bars, and restaurants. Never visited Boston before. What a great town … already talking about when we will go back. Negative: Steps are tough for older people,but manageable.

Apartment is gorgeous with wonderful natural lighting. Host was responsive. Even late at night when there was an issue with the front door. Was resolved quickly. Would recommend.

Positive: For a "staffless" establishment the instructions and stay were very well managed via Text. The Amenities were phenomenal (Large in-suite Tub, most comfortable bed, quality linens) and the historical brownstone conversion, created a historical and homey charm. The central location was great walking to most of our trip-planned destinations. 10/10 Negative: Having a parking spot since we drove in was great, I would have preferred to have it included in the cost but it is a nice option to have as an add-on since not all guests will require it, and was a reasonable price per day for a short stay, but could add up on longer stays

Great stay! Super convenient to BU and sites downtown. Really quiet and clean, comfy bed, cold a/c, and helpful hosts who resolved a minor issue with electrical outlets within minutes. We will return!

Overall clean and good location to back bay region. Stable internet and quiet. The host is responsive and helped to answer our questions. No elevator and kitchen. There are shared washers and dryers which were convenient. Our room was on ground level so occasionally there are bugs in the room, but overall quite nice experience.

Positive: This is a top notch property- airy, spacious, beautifully set up with everything you need for a wonderful stay in Boston and located just 5 mins away (walking) from the Kenmore stop on the Green Line. Check in/out was a breeze. I had an important work meeting come up last minute and the property management was generous enough to allow us to checkout 30 mins after 11 am. Negative: The HVAC started creating a random noise when I switched on the Heat Mode which went on through the night. Having a constant "thud" in the background was an inconvenience for me as a light sleeper, but switching it to "Cold" seemed to address the issue.

Incredibly beautiful place and very nice owners. Will definitely be staying again next time we’re in Boston!

My stay was great!!! The Charlesgate team was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly! Would definitely consider staying here again the next time I’m in Boston. Walkable to Fenway, too — was an awesome experience!
